Nicolás Maduro Transferred to Federal Court in New York

The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores, arrived at the federal court in southern New York, in Manhattan. Maduro will appear before a judge for the first time at 12:00 local time (17:00 GMT), after being captured last Saturday in Caracas and transferred to the United States.
