The CHJ Designs a New Course for the Barxeta to Prevent Flooding in Carcaixent and Alzira

The CHJ has tendered the two phases of an action to protect Carcaixent from Barxeta floods, which include the construction of a new channel that will direct runoff directly to the Xúquer. Ignacio Valero, a technician at the CHJ, and Arcadi España, Secretary of State for Territorial Policy, have presented the actions valued at 14.5 million euros. In the coming weeks, the construction of the Cogullada levee, valued at three million euros, will also be tendered.
