Councilor from Jaén Dismissed for Singing Sexist and Misogynistic Chants

The mayor of the municipality of Martos, in Jaén, Emilio Torres, has decided to dismiss the socialist councilor Manuel Cortés following the publication of a video where he appears singing sexist and misogynistic chants. The City Council has expressed its deep rejection of these types of attitudes, and has communicated that he must relinquish his delegations and competencies, as well as submit his resignation.
