Narco and the Professionalization of Crime in the Canary Islands

The dark chronicle of 2025 in the Canary Islands is marked by the professionalization of crime and drug trafficking, with a significant increase in murders, beatings, kidnappings, hitmen, shootings, drugs, and activities of drug traffickers and criminal organizations. According to the latest official balance from the Ministry of the Interior until September, there were 25 consummated homicides and 41 attempts, which represents a 150% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
